Lid, grinding chamber, removable micron mesh screen, catch chamber, and a deep storage jar at the bottom. The first four are what any four-piece gives you, so a 5 piece grinder lives or dies on the fifth. Pyramid teeth cut early in the turn, so a full chamber goes through without you leaning on the lid. The result is a fine grind rather than a medium one.
