Why ONGROK exists
Plenty of adults enjoy herb. But the gear made for them rarely kept up.
The only gear around was made for the head shop.
It shouted about what was in your bag.
And anything well made cost too much.
How it started
ONGROK began with one person looking for better gear and not finding it. The founder, a young professional at the time, wanted accessories that performed, fit a modern lifestyle, and didn't cost a fortune. Nothing on the market fit that brief.
So the work started with conversations. Friends, family and people with the same routine were asked what they actually wanted. The first line was developed from those answers in a condo high above Toronto, and ONGROK launched in 2018.
The company is still founder-led, and the method is the same: find out how people use their gear, then build it.

To grok something is to understand it deeply, the way you understand a friend. That's the standard we hold the gear to.

Four materials do most of the work. Each one is there for a reason.
Aluminum
Aircraft-grade aluminum
Anodized, and used on grinders, storage pucks and jars, dugouts and pipes. Light, strong and built for daily use.
Borosilicate glass
Borosilicate glass
On bubblers and water pipes. The Scandinavian Pocket Bubbler is borosilicate glass throughout and small enough to carry every day.
Walnut
Natural hardwood
Walnut, acacia and bamboo on grinders and trays. The 3 Inch, 2-Piece Walnut Grinder is solid walnut outside, aluminum with 48 diamond-cut teeth inside.

Email info@ongrok.com with a photo and a line on what's wrong, and you'll hear back within 1 to 2 business days. You get a full refund within 60 days, a replacement up to 180 days, and a 1-year warranty on infuser machines. For a return we email a prepaid UPS label; a $7 return fee comes off the refund, and the item needs to be unused, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. Full returns policy
