THE SCORING IS THE WHOLE POINT

Each square cavity has a cross groove cut into it, so a set piece snaps into four even quarters. When consistency matters, breaking on a cast line beats cutting with a knife and hoping.

A DROPPER, BECAUSE POURING DOES NOT WORK

Filling eighty small cavities from a jug means overflow, waste and a tray you have to wipe before it sets. The graduated dropper fills one cavity at a time to the same level, which is the other half of getting even portions.
