A QUARTER TURN OPENS IT
One quarter turn opens the main compartment. Another locks it shut. Long threads are what cross and bind, and there are none here. It opens the same whether the chamber is empty or packed tight.

HOW TO CLEAN IT
Raise the handle on the screen and turn it counter-clockwise, and it comes free. Brush the chambers, wipe the teeth, and put it back. For a deeper clean the Accessory Cleaning Kit handles the residue that a brush leaves behind.
