Beat The Heat! Four Infused Popsicle Recipes To Try This Summer
Posted on August 16 2022
When summer rolls around again, you may be thinking up new and innovative ideas to beat the heat. Whether that’s getting a swim spa installed in your backyard or trying your hand at making infused popsicles for the first time, there are plenty of new things you can try this summer.
In this article, we share with you three infused herbal popsicle recipes to try making. All you will need is your own herbal infused oil that you have prepared beforehand, some popsicle molds (or even muffin tins if you don’t have molds) as well as storage containers. If you don’t plan to eat all the popsicles at once, it’s a good idea to store them separately so that they do not end up sticking together!
Green Smoothie Herbal Popsicles
Are you a fan of green juice? If you already blend and drink green smoothies regularly, you will not have a problem making these popsicles. In fact, you will probably love them. All you will need is some orange juice, a tablespoon of lemon juice, one ripe banana, half an avocado, some baby spinach and a tablespoon of minced ginger. Throw in two tablespoons of honey to the mix or according to taste.
Once you have all the ingredients ready, simply place them into a blender. Next, add in your choice of herbal infusion, which you can prepare beforehand with your own botanical infuser. Blend well and pour into your popsicle molds!
Strawberry Lemonade Popsicles
Strawberry and lemon or lime have always been a winning combination. To make these popsicles, prepare a bottle of lemonade and some fresh strawberries. You may also wish to get a lime and some raw honey, which you can add according to taste. As before, blend all the ingredients to form a puree, making sure to add in your herbal infused oil.
Once you have poured the mixture into molds and allowed it to freeze, you are free to enjoy your popsicles!
Mango and Lime Popsicles
If you would prefer something with a more tropical taste, you should definitely try out these mango and lime popsicles. Those who are a little more adventurous may want to add a few pinches of cayenne chili, but that’s completely up to you!
Either wat, you will need three ripe mangoes, three limes, and a bottle of mango juice. You can also choose to add salt to taste. Blend everything together with your herbal infused oil before setting it aside to freeze in popsicle molds.
Coconut and Pineapple Popsicles
These fun popsicles will bring you straight to summer paradise. Prepare a ripe pineapple, a ripe mango, one banana as well as a can of coconut milk. Just like with all the other recipes before, throw everything into a blender together with your herbal infused oil. Once the puree is ready, pour into popsicle molds and allow it to freeze for up to four hours before enjoying.
